AbstractBackground The rate of tuberculosis treatment success has been relatively low due to high medication drop out which causes drug resistance and failure. Health counseling is a need for patients with help them understand accept their condition eventually increase adherence. Aim This systematic review aimed examine the effectiveness health on adherence regular pulmonary tuberculosis. Method Articles analyzed in this research were retrieved from Pubmed, Proquest, Science Direct, Cochrane library Gray Literature databases, resulting 7 main articles. These articles refer PRISMA 2009 by protocol registration number (PROSPERO) CRD42020223341.Articles using Critical Appraisal Skills Program risks bias measured based Risk Bias. Results From seven reviewed, several models identified, such as psychological education belief model (HBM), family best (FBC) through patient home visits, 5 other providing structured counseling. Structured effective TB shortest duration two weeks six months intervention. Conclusions Thus, recommended program beginning diagnosis completion 30 min every week 6 Medication was Morisky Adherence Scale (MMAS) support media leaflets.
